Banele"Bobo"Damane
Bobo is one of the founding members and a co-partner of OPE (Opulently Perfected Events). Bobo began his djing career at the age of 15yrs. Soon after he became more of a music connoisseur focussing on collecting a wide range of music from genres such as Jazz, Soul, Funk, Latin to electro genres like Deep House and Broken-Beat Jazz. From this particular interest grew a passion for radio in which, he felt that this type of music should be made available for the South African radio audience. Through this particular passion an online radio was established by the name "Deep Kult Radio" in the year 2006.
Upon completing his Media Studies diploma at the Boston Media Campus in 2009 he joined the Strika Entertainment company based in Cape Town for a brief learnership programme. In 2010 he joined Intergrated Marketing Communications Agency Groove Consultants where, he developed an interest for events management. Once the OPE idea came about he decided to follow his interest in events management by committing himself to the establishment contributing numerous resources through his contacts in the industry. His current role in the company is Sponsorship and Marketing Manager for OPE
Kagiso"Tokes"Toka
Kagiso fondly known amongst his peers as Tokes is one of the founding members of OPE.He currently resides in the Ga-Rankuwa Township and was born and bred in Pretoria, where he schooled at W.H.P.S and St Albans College. Kagiso is a recording musician who studied music through the London based Trinity School of Music. He plays the piano and bass and has featured with various orchestras based within Pretoria. The highlight of his musical career was being invited to play for the SA national junior orchestra for their tour in Cape Town. Kagiso plays a crucial role in the OPE establishment whereby, he brings rich diversity to the team with his out the box and diligent approach to work.
Tiro Bosilong
Tiro, the original founding member of Opulentlty Perfected Events was also born and bred in Pretoria where, he schooled at W.H.P.S and St Albans College. He and the family relocated to Europe in 1997 being a part of SA's illustrous diplomatic community whilst in at the Netherlands and France. Tiro returned to South Africa in 2002 and completed his matric at St Albans College in 2003. Upon completing matric Tiro studied international relations at the Midrand graduate Institute (M.G.I) and did an internship with the South African embassy in France in 2007. Once Tiro had conluded his degree in international relations the OPE idea came into being which, was initially events catering for the international community based in Pretoria such as your, tourists, foreign students, and young adults that had relocated to South Africa with their parents. Tiro is the events co-ordinator at OPE whereby, his role is to plan and manage events for the company.
